I absolutely loved getting to capture this Mississippi wedding at Bellawood the Venue for Jonathan & Alexis Flowers! Gorgeous weather, beautiful light, the most stunning bride, & s’mores to end the night; an absolute dream of a wedding day🤍

PREPARING FOR THE WEDDING

So, it’s no secret that I am a HUGE fan of Bellawood (I wrote a whole blog about it here)!! One of the reasons I fell in love with this venue is because it has the perfect space for the bridal party to get ready for the wedding day! I had the best time capturing the wedding day details & getting ready photos of Alexis & her bridesmaids! Bridal prep photos always end up being a huge favorite for me! It really was so perfect to get to take these photos in the stunning bridal suite at Bellawood!

There’s also a groom’s suite at Bellawood as well!! Super convenient for everyone to be able to prepare for the day in one location!

FIRST LOOKS

It is always so fun & special to capture a first-look moment! Alexis got to share a first look with her bridesmaids, her dad & stepdad, and Jonathan! It was such a joy to photograph these moments!! Alexis was an absolutely breathtaking bride & everyone had the sweetest reaction to seeing her in her wedding dress!

Of course, the first look between bride & groom was the most special. Jonathan had the absolute sweetest reaction to seeing Alexis!! And it was so special that we got to capture the first look in the same location as their ceremony! So much joy & love in these photos!!

PORTRAITS

After the first look, we moved on to my absolute FAVORITE part of a wedding day: bride & groom portraits!! Loved getting to capture these for Jonathan & Alexis after their first look! 🤍

I also LOVE getting to be creative with bridal party portraits!! Alexis chose the most stunning colors & florals for her wedding day! Love these photos so much🤍

CEREMONY

Jonathan & Alexis had a beautiful ceremony as the sun was setting! When I tell you the weather was perfect…I mean it was perfect😍. We got to open the windows & doors in Bellawood’s ceremony location and it really was an absolute dream! It was so sweet to see these two get married & officially become Dr. & Mrs. Flowers!! 🤍 You could tell they were absolutely overjoyed! We got to capture some sweet “just married” portraits following the ceremony, and I think they turned out to be my favorites of the day!

RECEPTION

There’s nothing like getting to relax & celebrate at the reception!! Jonathan & Alexis had the most amazing food, cupcakes, & s’mores! They also had the sweetest first dances🤍

Loved getting to enjoy the night with the newly married Flowers & their family & friends! I shot this wedding at 36 weeks pregnant, & was blown away by how sweet every member of the bridal party & every family member were to me all day! This was definitely such an amazing wedding to be a part of! I’m so honored I was able to capture this day! I’m absolutely thrilled for Jonathan & Alexis & wishing them all the best as they enter into married life!! 🤍
