I absolutely LOVED getting to photograph this perfect wedding day at The Cotton Market for Keegan & Ashlee Jones! These two are the absolute sweetest & make such a perfect couple! This day was fun, laid back, & full of so much love! It was such a joy to get to celebrate this wedding with Keegan, Ashlee, & all of their family & friends! 🤍

I had a ton of nerves leading up to the wedding, having just hit 39 weeks pregnant-I was so unsure about whether or not I was even going to be able to make it! I definitely can’t say it was easy to photograph the wedding at 9 months pregnant; but I can say I would absolutely do it over again for this couple!

PREPARING FOR THE WEDDING

The bridal party chose to get ready for the day at Jillian’s Salon in Downtown Clinton! Tyler-Marie Strickland took care of hair & makeup and did an absolutely amazing job (she does my own hair at Jillian’s, so I already knew she would kill it!!)

After everyone was ready, we headed to The Cotton Market for Ashlee to get into her gorgeous dress from Bridal Boutique! She really was the most stunning bride. Loved getting to photograph some sweet moments between Ashlee & her mom as she got into her wedding dress! We also got to do a first look with the bridesmaids & her dad, which were both SO precious!! I mean, seriously, I was having to hold back tears during this father/daughter first look🥹

Once the groomsmen arrived, we got some fun pictures of them with Keegan! Their whole bridal party was a ton of fun, which made the day even better!

PRE-CEREMONY

Ashlee & Keegan chose not to do a first look before their wedding ceremony! They did still want to take a private moment for the two of them before they got married, where they could hold hands & talk prior to the ceremony without having to see each other. We arranged this outside of the reception building, & it ended up being one of my favorite moments of their day! There can be a lot of nerves leading up to a wedding, & I think it helps so much to have a moment together before the ceremony. Love that we were able to make this happen, even without a first look🤍

CEREMONY

Keegan & Ashlee chose to get married inside The Cotton Market barn (side note: this barn was recently painted white & it looks amazing😍)! Like I said before, they chose not do a first look, so Keegan saw Ashlee for the very first time as she walked down the aisle to him! He had the sweetest reaction!! It really was such a special moment. It’s just so obvious how much these two love each other! It was such a joy to watch them get married! Their ceremony was truly lovely🤍

Right after the ceremony, we went straight into portraits! The wedding day was a bit chilly, but everyone really had the best attitude about being outside!

My favorite part of a wedding day is always bride & groom portraits! This day was definitely no exception! I had the best time capturing “just married” portraits of Mr. & Mrs. Jones! They made my job so easy!! I loved looking back through these photos because you can see how happy they are to have just been married🤍

After portraits, these two headed into their reception to celebrate with friends & family!! It was such a fun reception (with great food & cupcakes😍). Instead of the typical sparkler exit, Keegan & Ashlee chose a MS State cowbell exit, which ended up being SO fun to photograph!!

I really did love this day SO much!! I felt beyond thankful that I was able to be there, massive pregnant belly & all 😂

I’m so excited for Keegan & Ashlee as they step into this new season! Marriage really is the best🤍
