I don’t think this wedding at the Reed House at Live Oaks could have possibly been any more perfect! Beautiful venue, beautiful day, & a beautiful couple! Carson & Peyton are truly perfect for each other & it was a joy to be able to document their day!

All week long, the weather forecast said there was a chance of rain for the wedding date. At best, it seemed it would still be really cloudy. But in the end, from start to finish, it was the most perfect & sunny day! Peyton said repeatedly that it was all just a result of her dad & Jesus watching over her–I 100% agree! And while I’m happy to photograph a rainy wedding day, I know we were all thankful for this perfect, sunny day at Live Oaks!

WEDDING PREP AT THE REED HOUSE AT LIVE OAKS

I met Peyton and her bridesmaids at the bridal suite at The Reed House at Live Oaks! It’s such a beautiful space to prepare for a wedding day. I had such a great time photographing all the details as Peyton prepared for her wedding day!

Peyton had the most incredible dress from the bridal path! Peyton mentioned that it gave “Elsa vibes” & I couldn’t agree more! It was the perfect choice for a December wedding! Once Peyton was in the dress, we got to capture some sweet moments with her bridesmaids & family seeing her for the first time! Peyton & Carson are surrounded by some pretty incredible friends & family, & this was evident throughout the entire day!

Carson & Peyton chose to exchange vows at their first look under the oaks. I think it was the sweetest moment of the day. First looks are always so precious; but there’s something beyond special about a couple sharing private vows on their wedding day.

After their first look, I followed Carson & Peyton around live oaks & captured about a million bride & groom portraits for them. They are such a gorgeous couple & made my job so easy! I have a lot of favorites to share on the blog today!

CEREMONY & RECEPTION AT THE REED HOUSE

The ceremony under the oak trees was so perfect. I loved the lights hanging from the trees. It made the whole wedding so dreamy! But more than anything, it was such a joy to see Carson & Peyton become husband & wife! All the wedding day planning led them to this perfect moment, where they were finally able to become the Buckners🤍

Following the ceremony, we headed inside the reed house for the reception! It was SO much fun!! Receptions are always the best part of a wedding day. After all the planning & all the chaos, it’s the perfect time to relax, celebrate, & have fun! And I think it’s safe to say that everyone at the wedding had an amazing time!

We ended the night with a bubble exit (my favorite!!), & the Buckners got to drive away in the most precious getaway car (also my favorite!!).

I don’t think I could say enough about how much I loved getting to photograph this perfect wedding day! I’m so excited to share my favorite moments from the wedding on the blog🤍
