I loved celebrating (& photographing) my SISTER’S wedding day at The Chapel at Livingston!! It was the sweetest, most beautiful day. And of course I’m biased, but I think these are some of the most beautiful photos I’ve ever taken🥹

Hunter & Cooper Matkins are the most precious couple & I couldn’t be happier for them!! 🤍

PREPARING FOR THE WEDDING

We started the morning at my sister’s house, where we all got ready for the wedding day! My sister-in-law, Hannah, did makeup & hair for Cooper (& for me!), which was so sweet! And she did the most amazing job! The whole morning was sweet & really chill. Just a fun time celebrating Cooper & eating some of the best cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had (thank you to Cooper’s bridesmaid, Maddie!!)

Once everyone was ready, we headed to The Chapel at Livingston! I absolutely adore this venue & was so excited when my sister chose it for her wedding day! This is also where I met up with my sweet associate photographer, Jordan Little! She made it possible for me to photograph this wedding by filling in for all the moments I couldn’t capture (bridal party, family photos, ceremony)-so the biggest thank you in the world to Jordan!!

My sister’s wedding dress was absolutely perfect. I picked it out of the rack, so I was obviously a big fan😅 She was such a stunning bride, & everyone was so excited to see her in her dress!

Cooper & Hunter had a first look with each other inside the chapel; but something unique was that they chose to leave it totally private. Meaning that Jordan & I weren’t even in there to photograph it. I loved this so much & was really thankful they were able to take that moment alone during their wedding day!

From there, we took about a million photos! The day before the wedding was cloudy & rainy; but the day of was the most beautiful, sunny day. I loved every photo I took, & I’m so excited to share my favorites on the blog!!

CEREMONY & RECEPTION AT THE CHAPEL AT LIVINGSTON

The ceremony in the chapel was absolutely perfect. Cooper looked like an angel walking down the aisle, & Hunter’s reaction to seeing her was so sweet. He loves her so much, & it was the happiest thing in the world to watch them get married!! God’s goodness was so evident throughout the entire day, but especially during the ceremony🤍

Once Hunter & Cooper were finally married, I got to follow them around for some more portraits! We were blessed with one of the most beautiful sunsets, & I had the best time capturing their “just married” pictures! They were both so happy, it was the sweetest thing.

The reception was also so much fun! They served breakfast food & coffee, & everyone got to dance & celebrate the Matkins🤍 We ended the night with a bubble exit out of the chapel, as Hunter & Cooper headed off to their honeymoon!! It really was the most perfect day! I’m so excited & thankful to welcome Hunter into our family! Couldn’t be more happy for Mr. & Mrs. Matkins🫶🏻
