I had the best time photographing this Mississippi wedding day at The B.B. Club in Vicksburg for Gray & Hannah Parker! It was a hot Mississippi day, but that didn’t stop anyone from having the best time! So thankful that I was able to capture this Vicksburg wedding, & I’m excited to share some of my favorite images on the blog!

PREPARING FOR THE WEDDING

We met Hannah & her bridal party at the beautiful Duff Green Mansion in Vicksburg! This home was a great background for portraits and details! It was the perfect place to start the day! After we finished capturing detail photos, we got some fun getting ready shots of Hannah & all of her friends! I even got Hannah to do some fun bridal shots in a bathtub-I love how these turned out! I had a lot of fun exploring the inside & outside of Duff Green Mansion & was thankful that we had such a perfect start to the day!

Once we had bridesmaids’ photos captured, we headed over to the groomsmen! They were at another gorgeous Vicksburg home right down the road! I also had a great time exploring this space & capturing photos of Gray & his groomsmen! I also loved getting to meet Gray’s family! They were so nice to us & made sure we had some food & water to help get through the hot day!

FIRST TOUCH & VOWS

Gray & Hannah chose not to do a first look. They both wanted to see each other for the first time during their ceremony! However, they still wanted to share a private moment together so that they could share their vows with each other before the ceremony. We set them up back to back so that they could hold hands without actually seeing each other. This ended up being the sweetest moment of the day! When we had them set up to share vows, Gray said, “I hate not talking to you all day-let’s never do this again!” It was the sweetest. And they both shared the most beautiful vows with one another! I loved looking back on these photos!

CEREMONY AT THE B.B. CLUB

I was so amazed at the beautiful ceremony set up at the B.B. Club! It’s just an absolutely stunning venue, and the colors & flowers that Hannah chose for her day were just perfect! Seeing Gray’s face as Hannah walked down the aisle was hands down my favorite moment of the day. I also loved that Gray’s dad married them! It really was such a special ceremony!

Once the ceremony was over, it was time for pictures! All week, the forecast said it was going to thunderstorm during the wedding. I was so thankful that it didn’t rain once all day! Instead, we ended up getting some beautiful lighting for portraits! It was very hot, but Gray & Hannah were amazing!

RECEPTION & EXIT

The day ended with a fun reception at The B.B. Club! The music, food, & cake were all amazing! I had the best time photographing all the guests dancing & celebrating together! I truly am so happy for the Parkers!! Gray & Hannah make the sweetest couple & I truly felt honored to photograph their day!! I’m wishing them all the best as they step into this new season of life!! 🤍
