Natchez, Mississippi Engagement

I absolutely loved getting to capture these gorgeous Natchez, Mississippi engagement photos!

Jack & Jordyn met at Ole Miss, but work has led them to Natchez! They will be getting married there in Downtown at the historic and beautiful St. Mary’s Basilica! I had the joy of meeting them in Natchez and getting to follow them around the beautiful city (and the Mississippi River) for their engagement photos! Natchez is a little unfamiliar to me, but these two were so kind and patient as they drove me around town to some of the best locations! Jack & Jordyn are so perfect for each other and so much fun. They made my job an absolute breeze!

Anyone who lives in Mississippi knows that our weather can be a bit unpredictable. In fact, we actually had this engagement session scheduled for a month prior, but had to cancel due to rain! So I was a bit worried when it started pouring for about half of my drive to Natchez! But by the time I arrived, the weather was absolutely perfect! We are starting to get the beginnings of fall weather here in Mississippi, and it’s getting me SO excited!! And it made this engagement session even more beautiful and fun. The sunset over the Mississippi River was breathtaking! I ended up being so thankful that we rescheduled. It paid off for us, big time!!

Jack & Jordyn will be having a summer wedding next June! Like I said before, these two really are perfect for each other, and they are both so kind! I’m truly looking forward to celebrating their wedding day with them next summer!

Jordyn has her dress picked out, they’ve got their location secured for the ceremony & reception, and now we’ve got engagement photos done as well!! Now we’re just counting down the days to June 2023🥳
