As a Jackson, Mississippi based wedding photographer, I always love when I get to photograph engagement sessions in the city. I was overjoyed to meet Eric & Hannah at the Fairview Inn & document their engagement photos throughout Jackson. Eric & Hannah, who are set to become Mr. & Mrs. Holmes on July 27th this year at Fondren Church in Jackson, were so much fun to work with. We had the best time capturing these engagements, & I am so thankful to be sharing my favorites here on the blog.
A Day at The Fairview Inn
Our session began at the beautiful Fairview Inn, a boutique hotel known for its garden area and unique interior charm. The Inn’s garden provided a serene and romantic setting for portraits of Eric & Hannah. Their outfit choices were perfect, & the whole setting was elegant and timeless. We were also able to capture some moments inside the Fairview Inn, which added something unique to the engagement photos. The Fairview Inn was a perfect location to start the engagement session!
The Jackson Capitol: The Perfect Backdrop
Following our time at the Fairview Inn, we moved to the Jackson Capitol, which happens to be one of my favorite backdrops for portraits. The beautiful capital building was the perfect setting to continue Eric and Hannah’s engagement pictures. It added a level of variety compared to the intimate garden setting of the Fairview Inn. Eric & Hannah are a beautiful couple, & their love for each other is so evident. They made my job incredibly easy.
Looking Forward to the Big Day
Eric and Hannah’s wedding, set to take place at Fondren Church with a reception at Bridlewood of Madison, will be a day of celebration, and love. Their engagement session was just a glimpse into how perfect they are for each other, and I am so excited to capture every moment of their wedding day.
I can not wait to celebrate the future Mr. & Mrs. Holmes in July! After six years together, I know that Eric & Hannah will be so excited & thankful to celebrate their wedding day this summer. Their engagement session was so beautiful, & was a reminder of why I love being a Jackson, Mississippi wedding photographer—capturing love stories for couples brings me so much joy!
