Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in a styled shoot at The Plant Venue, organized by the talented Val from Salt & Light Co. and the amazing wedding planner, Jennifer Mullen of Jennifer Mullen Events & Designs. This event was an incredible creative opportunity that brought vendors together to connect & create at the beautiful Plant Venue.
The Plant Venue: A Modern Venue in Jackson
Located in Jackson, The Plant Venue stands out as a modern and versatile space, perfect for weddings and events. Its unique architecture and design offer endless possibilities for photography, with natural light flooding in to add to its beauty. For this styled shoot, The Plant Venue offered so many opportunities for fun, unique portraits. It was a photographer’s dream!
Floral Magic by The Willow Blu
A styled shoot wouldn’t be complete without beautiful floral arrangements, and the florists from The Willow Blu outdid themselves. Their design for the shoot was stunning & unique, and added so much to the already beautiful Plant Venue. The florals added an elegant touch to the setting, perfectly complementing the modern aesthetics of the venue. I always love working with the Willow Blu & it was so much fun to see them bring the vision for the styled shoot to life!
Bridal Elegance by Elle James Bridal
Elle James Bridal provided three distinct bridal looks for our model, & each look was so fun to photograph! The bridal looks ranged from classic elegance to modern chic, showcasing the versatility of their bridal collections. The variety also allowed us to experiment with different styles and settings within The Plant Venue, highlighting the adaptability of the space and the creativity it inspires. Each look brought a new wave of inspiration for every photographer, which added so much to the entire styled shoot!
A Day of Creativity and Collaboration
Participating in this styled shoot was an amazing experience! Being able to come together at The Plant Venue, with the freedom to explore and create, was a reminder of why I love being a wedding photographer! There was a great energy throughout the entire day, & I felt so thankful to be a part of it!
