This wedding day at Dodson Farms was an absolute dream come true! From beginning to end, this day was full of joy. And everything was absolutely beautiful! It was such an honor to get to know Daniel & Taylor, & I am beyond thankful that I was able to capture their perfect fall wedding day at Dodson Farms!

PREPARING FOR THE WEDDING

I met Taylor and her bridesmaids at the bridal house at Dodson Farms! It’s such a gorgeous, spacious home, & it was the perfect backdrop for documenting details and bridal prep! Something I loved about this wedding day was how happy everyone was! The bridesmaids were talking, dancing, & just having fun together. Such a perfect way to start the day!

Taylor is actually a makeup artist, and chose to do her own wedding makeup! She absolutely killed it. She is beautiful and made the most stunning bride! I could have spent all day just taking photos of her in the bridal suite!

Taylor chose to do first looks with her bridesmaids, dad, & brothers! Everyone had the sweetest reactions to seeing her for the first time (there may have been some tears shed!!). After this, we set up her first look with Daniel. They chose to read the vows they wrote for each other before turning around, which made their first look moment even more beautiful. I loved getting to see them celebrate the fact that their day was finally here!

I took way too many bride & groom portraits of them after their first look!! Daniel & Taylor are a beautiful couple and made my job so easy!! We also got to take lots of fun bridal party & family photos before the ceremony! But once all the photos were done, it was time for everyone to hide away and prepare for the wedding!

CEREMONY & RECEPTION AT DODSON FARMS

The ceremony could not have been more perfect! It started with all of Daniel & Taylor’s bridal party and family praying over them before they even walked out! Taylor was absolutely radiant as she walked down the aisle to Daniel. I loved getting to witness these two become Mr. & Mrs. Murphree! They were both so happy to be married!! Which meant it was the perfect time for some fun, joy-filled, “just married” portraits! We caught the most beautiful sunset light, and I loved every minute of riding around on the golf cart at Dodson Farms & capturing photos of the newly married Murphrees!

Once the portraits were done, it was time for the most fun reception! Daniel & Taylor shared the sweetest first dances with their parents and each other as the sun set over the farm. The venue was perfect, the weather was dreamy, the decorations were incredible, the food was amazing, & everyone had the best time celebrating Daniel & Taylor!! I can’t even begin to say how much I loved getting to be a part of this day! I’m so excited to share my favorite moments from the wedding on the blog🤍
