It was such a joy to capture this wedding day at The Bottling Company in Hattiesburg for Alec & Christina Rivera! They are truly one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever worked with!! And they could not be more perfect for each other. Everything about their day was so lovely. I felt honored to be able to capture these memories for them!

PREPARING FOR THE WEDDING

We met Christina & her bridesmaids in the adorable bridal suite at The Bottling Company! They had been enjoying the morning together as they got ready for the wedding day! The hair & makeup team (Lacey James & Sarah Evans) did an amazing job! All the girls looked gorgeous!

I started out the day by photographing all the most beautiful details! Christina’s flowers were so perfect!! I was obsessed & had such a fun time getting to be creative with the detail shots! From there, we got to capture a first look with her bridesmaids! She has the sweetest friends & they were all so excited to see her in her dress!

Once everyone was ready, it was time for Alec & Christina’s first look. It truly was one of the sweetest first looks I’ve ever captured. Alec’s reaction to Christina just about killed me🥹 Like I said before, these two are just perfect for each other!

We got to capture some bride & groom photos right after the first look. I had a ton of fun exploring The Bottling Company for the best portrait locations! We even got to include their sweet golden-doodle, Jax, in some of their photos, which was just the best🤍

Because Alec & Christina chose to do a first look, we were also able to capture bridal party & family photos all before the ceremony! This gave everyone a chance to relax for a bit before guests arrived & the ceremony began!

CEREMONY & RECEPTION

The ceremony was absolutely perfect! I think that Alec’s reaction to seeing Christina walk down the aisle may have been even sweeter than the first look. These two were just so excited to be getting married! Once the ceremony was over, we got to take the most precious “just married” portraits outside of the Riveras! These are definitely my favorite photos of the day! Alec & Christina made my job so easy!!

Alec & Christina got to spend their reception surrounded by friends & family who clearly love them so much! I love receptions because everyone finally can just relax and celebrate with all their people. We had a ton of fun getting reception photos & the perfect sparkler exit!

I’m so beyond thankful that I was able to photograph this wedding day for Dr. & Mrs. Rivera!! They really are two of the kindest people. I’m so excited for them to start this new season together! Wishing them all the best🤍
