Best of Weddings 2022 | Mississippi Wedding Photographer
I’m so excited to be able to share some of the best of weddings from 2022! It was SO fun to look back through photos from these wedding days as I put this blog together.
This has honestly been one of the craziest years of my entire life! It almost feels like I’ve lived three different years in one. From growing a Mississippi wedding photography business (while still full time teaching), to finding out I was pregnant, to completing a Master’s degree, & deciding to take my photography full time…it’s been a lot!!
I’ve had so many people ask me how I’m feeling about transitioning into full-time photography. Truth be told, I feel a huge combination of both excitement and fear. Getting to be a wedding photographer is a dream come true for me! But of course, there are so many unknowns as I also step into motherhood for the first time in March. One thing I can say with confidence is that I know this is the path that the Lord has for me. 2023 will definitely be a year of learning to trust Him more than I ever have before!

I wanted to take a minute to say a huge thank you to every couple who has trusted me with their wedding photos this year! Truly, it is not lost on me how significant it is to capture these memories. Along with that, I wanted to thank each person who has trusted me with their senior photos as well. I might just need to dedicate an entire blog to all the amazing seniors I’ve been able to work with in 2022-it has been such a joy for me! Lastly, I wanted to thank everyone who has shared my work or recommended me to a friend.
The trust that all of you have placed in my photography business is what has allowed me to transition into this next step in 2023! I’m thankful (more than I can say) that I’ll be able to spend this next year working (mostly) from home with our baby boy! It’s your kind words & trust in my work that have made that possible for our family. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The coldest, sweetest day. Brooke & Mason endured icy rain, wind, & even snow!! But their day was truly perfect & an absolute joy to be a part of!

Josh & Kelsi celebrated their wedding at Roosevelt State Park. The ceremony as absolutely stunning!! They are such a gorgeous couple & were so fun to celebrate!

Wow, I loved this day. Lorin & Eddie’s wedding was full of prayer & worship. And they managed to make the parking lot look like the most beautiful scene in the world!

Hamp & Kaylyn had the most perfect, rainy day. Thankful that they trusted me enough to follow me into the downpour for all their portraits! Could not have had more fun celebrating the Williamsons with all their friends & family!

The most stunning, classic wedding day at The River House in Vicksburg, MS. Still obsessing over Amanda’s dress. She & Casey are truly perfect for each other. Loved this day so, so much (even in the cold!!)
The Bristers
My last wedding of 2022. James & Tara had the sweetest, most personal wedding day at The Ice House in Jackson. It would be hard to find two people more in love! So happy for them!
