It was such a joy to be able to capture this Vicksburg, Mississippi wedding day at The River House for Casey & Amanda Ming! This was an absolutely gorgeous day from beginning to end! I am so thankful I was able to spend this day capturing the love that these two share🤍

PREPARING FOR THE WEDDING

The River House truly was the perfect place for the bridal party to prepare for the wedding. This home is full of beautiful rooms & gorgeous, natural light! We spent the beginning of the day capturing all the pretty details from the wedding. I don’t think I could be more obsessed with her ring & the florals! Amanda was so stunning in the perfect dress from The Bridal Path. It was truly one of the most beautiful dresses I’ve ever photographed! Amanda shared a sweet first look with her bridesmaids, and their reaction to seeing her for the first time was absolutely perfect!

Casey and Amanda chose to save their “first look” moment for their ceremony! This gave us some extra time to capture some beautiful bridal portraits of Amanda in front of The River House! We also captured some fun photos of the groomsmen before the ceremony started as well!

CEREMONY & CELEBRATION!

The River House was the perfect location for their outdoor ceremony. Yes, it was a very cold day, but it was absolutely beautiful! I always love getting to photograph an outdoor ceremony, no matter what the weather looks like! My favorite part of the ceremony was seeing the joy on Casey & Amanda’s faces as they exchanged vows. Their family & bridal party were so sweet throughout the ceremony as well. Everyone was so happy for these two!!

After the ceremony ended, we took some time to capture bride & groom portraits for Casey & Amanda! It was cold outside, but looking at the photos, you would really never know it! The River House made the perfect backdrop for all their photos together! These two did such a good job handling the cold for their portraits, and I’m thankful for how patient they were throughout the process! Photos of the bride and groom are always my favorite photos from a wedding day! & I love the photos of these newlyweds so much🤍

After their bride & groom photos, the Mings made their grand entrance into the reception! Again, it was a cold evening, but their reception was truly so much fun!! Casey & Amanda shared some of the sweetest first dances with their parents! And I love the photos from Amanda’s first dance with her daughter🤍

The reception really is the most fun part of a wedding day. After all the craziness of planning a wedding, I love seeing everyone be able relax and have fun together! 601 Live Band was the entertainment for the night, and they were so amazing, I swear they made everyone forget how cold it was! Every guest at the wedding had so much fun celebrating together! It was such a great time!! And we got to end the night with the most gorgeous sparkler exit! ✨
