As a Jackson, Mississippi wedding photographer, capturing this wedding day for Eric & Hannah Holmes was an absolute joy! Their celebration (which started at Fondren Church in Jackson and ended with a fun reception at Bridlewood of Madison) was the sweetest & most beautiful day from beginning to end. Eric and Hannah are the kindest couple, and their wedding day was truly a dream! These two are absolutely perfect for each other, & I am thrilled to be sharing some of my favorite moments from their day on the blog!

Preparing for the Day in Jackson, Mississippi

I met Hannah & her bridesmaids at Fondren Church in Jackson, Mississippi, to start the day! Emily Miller from Golden Girls Glam did an amazing job with makeup, and Jillian’s Salon styled everyone’s hair beautifully. The atmosphere was joyful & relaxed, and everyone looked stunning—especially Hannah. Her classic and timeless bridal look was absolute perfection, and I loved capturing portraits of her throughout the day! The navy blue bridesmaid dresses (which I was personally obsessed with because it’s my brand color!) paired perfectly with the all-white bouquets, creating a beautiful, cohesive look!

Intimate Moments and Stunning Details

Hannah’s invitation suite and bridal details were so lovely! Every element reflected the timeless and elegant theme of the day. Eric and Hannah shared a first look in the church where they would soon be married. It was an emotional and joyful moment, and afterward, they shared private vows sitting in the pews. This was one of the sweetest parts of the day, & I was so thankful they took the time to share this private moment with one another.

Beautiful Portraits and Perfect Weather in Jackson

Despite a week of rain, we were blessed with beautiful (albeit hot) weather for their wedding day in Jackson, Mississippi. We took stunning portraits of Eric, Hannah, and their bridal party outside the church. The light was perfect, & everyone looked amazing! The ceremony was equally stunning—both Eric and Hannah were overcome with emotion as she walked down the aisle. They honored the Lord in every aspect of their day, and their ceremony was a beautiful reflection of their faith! Seeing the joy on their faces as they walked down the aisle together as husband & wife was absolutely priceless. Their family & friends followed them out of the church, instantly ready to celebrate the new Mr. & Mrs. Holmes!

Celebration at Bridlewood of Madison

After the ceremony, we headed to Bridlewood of Madison for the reception. The venue provided a breathtaking backdrop for more bride and groom portraits. The day ended with a beautiful sunset, which felt like a miracle after the week’s rainstorms! The photos we captured of Eric and Hannah during this time are some of my favorites—they truly showcase the joy of their day!

A Night of Fun and Joy

The reception was so much fun! Everyone had the best time dancing and celebrating Eric & Hannah! The night ended with a sparkler exit, & Eric picking Hannah up off the ground and carrying her to their car was the perfect, precious ending to a beautiful day!

I am so excited for Eric and Hannah as they start this new chapter of their lives together. This wedding day was a dream! I am incredibly thankful to have been a part of it and wish them all the best!
