As a Mississippi wedding photographer, I have the pleasure of working with some incredible couples! Clay and Lauren Weatherspoon’s wedding was a day filled with joy, laughter, and beautiful moments! I loved getting to spend this amazing day with the Weatherspoons at Bridlewood of Madison!

The Most Joyful Couple

From the moment I met Clay and Lauren, I was looking forward to capturing their wedding day! They are such a fun couple, and their joy was evident throughout the entire day. Their love for each other and their excitement about their wedding made the day an absolute joy to photograph! Truly, they made my job so easy!!

Colorful and Joyful Florals

The day was beautifully accented by the colorful and joyful floral arrangements! The vibrant flowers added something so beautiful to every photo, setting the tone for the entire wedding day. Despite the hot weather, it was a beautiful day & we were blessed with perfect lighting for some truly stunning portraits!

Starting the Day With Details

I began the day capturing the fun and unique details of Lauren’s wedding attire and accessories. From her fun shoes to her watercolor invitation, her jewelry, and the gorgeous flowers, every detail was thoughtfully chosen and so beautiful. These photos set the stage for the rest of the day and highlighted Lauren’s impeccable taste!

Fun First Looks

Lauren shared memorable first looks with her bridesmaids and dad, which were so joyful & full of laughter! Her first look with Clay was particularly special—it was both touching & fun! They were so excited to see each other. They also shared personal vows during this time, which was one of the sweetest moments of the day.

Stunning Portraits at Bridlewood

Bridlewood of Madison offers so many incredible locations for portraits, and we took full advantage of them! From the beautiful grounds to the scenic spots around the venue, every backdrop was perfect for capturing the newly married Weatherspoons! The light was perfect, allowing us to create some truly stunning images.

A Beautiful Indoor Ceremony

Their indoor wedding ceremony was absolutely perfect! Clay & Lauren were both so emotional as Lauren walked down the aisle. Every friend & family member was overjoyed to see these two get married! After the ceremony, we hopped on a golf cart to take some sunset photos, which were absolutely stunning. The golden light was so dreamy!

Mr. & Mrs. Weatherspoon

The reception was such a fun celebration, with everyone dancing and enjoying the night (and some incredible food!). I am so thankful to have been a part of Clay and Lauren’s wedding day. Their love, joy, and fun-loving spirit made it an unforgettable experience! I’m so happy for the Weatherspoons and excited for their future together!
