Preparing for the Wedding

They celebrated this day at their church home surrounded by their dearest friends & family! Their wedding day was lovely from beginning to end. We started the day capturing all of the beautiful details from the wedding. Krista has the most gorgeous ring–we were obsessing over it! Then, we joined the bridesmaids for donuts while they got ready! Bay Hartness Mann did an amazing job on hair & makeup for Krista & all of her bridesmaids! Then, we got to visit the groomsmen & capture some fun photos of them getting ready as well!

Andy & Krista chose not to do a first look; they wanted to save that moment for the ceremony! That meant that I got to really prioritize Krista’s bridal photos at the beginning of the wedding day! Krista was such a gorgeous bride & her bridal portraits are some of my favorite photos from the day! She had the perfect veil & loveliest dress from Mimi’s Bridal!

Even though they chose not to see each other until the wedding ceremony, Andy & Krista were still able to pray together before the wedding! We set them up back to back, so that they could have a moment with each other before they were married. I love the photos from this special moment so much!

Ceremony & Celebration!

The wedding ceremony was beautiful & worshipful. Andy & Krista were covered in prayer by all their friends and family. It really was a joy-filled ceremony as these two shared their commitment to each other before the Lord! It’s always such an exciting moment to see two people become husband & wife!

After the ceremony, we took some time to capture bride & groom portraits for the Allens! We found the perfect location right across the street from the church. Portraits of the bride & groom are my main priority on a wedding day. We didn’t have as much time as I expected, but we were able to capture so many beautiful photos of Andy & Krista! They look amazing together & so joyful!! Love these photos so much🤍

After bride & groom portraits, Andy & Krista headed to the reception to celebrate their marriage with family & friends! They had some amazing food and dessert! The cakes may have tasted even better than they looked (which is really saying something!)

Andy & Krista had a bird seed send off as they left for their honeymoon! So happy for these two and excited for them as they step into this new season of life as a married couple! Congratulations to the Allens!! 🥳
