This Hattiesburg, Mississippi wedding day for Joe & Allana Schutt was an absolute joy to capture! It was actually an unexpected surprise that I was able to capture their day, but I could not have been more thankful that it all worked out so perfectly!

Joe & Allana Schutt had the most beautiful wedding day at the Barn at Bridlewood in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. It was an absolutely stunning venue (seriously, I don’t think I could have loved the venue any more than I did), & Allana carefully thought through all the details to make her day so gorgeous! She’s a florist herself (Yellow Rose Floral) & she did an amazing job designing all the arrangements! She even had the altar for her ceremony custom made, & I could not have been more obsessed! It made for the most gorgeous photos!

Joe & Allana chose not to do a first look, but still wanted to share a private moment before the ceremony. So we got some chairs set up back to back for them to share their private vows with each other right before they were married. I think this may have been my favorite part of the day! It was a great way for them to have an intimate moment together before the ceremony.

Also–can we talk about how precious their puppy is?? I’m only a little obsessed with people’s dogs. So glad they chose to include their dog in their wedding ceremony! Even with her jumping in the lake during the ceremony😂 I honestly think it made the moment even better!

Again, the Barn at Bridlewood was the absolute perfect location, & we caught the most gorgeous light for their portraits! I called it “a wedding photographer’s dream come true,” & I still stand by that! I honestly think I could have taken bride & groom portraits forever!

I am incredibly thankful that all the pieces fell into place perfectly for me to capture this gorgeous Mississippi wedding day! It was such a joy to be able to tell Joe & Allana’s wedding day story💖
