I had so much fun capturing these Oxford, Mississippi engagement photos for my sister & her fiance’!! I know I’m a little biased, but Cooper & Hunter really are the sweetest & most fun couple🤍
This engagement session was special to me for a lot of reasons! It was my first engagement session since having my baby boy, Oliver, back in March (engagement sessions are my favorite & I have missed them so much)! We got to take them in Oxford, which was something so fun & different for me! And, of course, the fact that these were for my sister! Cooper is my best friend & I can’t believe she’s getting married! I’m so thankful that she has found such an amazing & godly person in Hunter, & I can’t wait until their wedding day at The Chapel at Livingston this December! I have the honor of standing by her side at the wedding and photographing their day! I couldn’t be more excited!
We started the engagement session at Rowan Oak (the home of William Faulkner)! I captured some of my favorite photos from the entire session at the front of this home! From there, we headed to the square in Downtown Oxford! We got to take some fun photos in Square Books, which was one of the cutest book stores I’ve ever seen! About halfway through, we got to pause for some frozen yogurt before we finished up with some more photos around the square & at Ole Miss! This day was supposed to be super rainy, and it ended up being really beautiful! So thankful to my husband and mother in law for watching Oliver so that I could make this trip!
December feels far away at the moment, but I know it will get here so fast! Hunter & Cooper’s wedding will be my last one to photograph in 2023 & I can’t think of a more perfect way to end the year! Love them both so much! Can’t wait to celebrate the Matkins!! 🥳
